In this role-playing-based farming simulator, players can farm, harvest, fish, cook, manufacture and trade NFTs to build their own Bumpkin NFT, a dynamic game character representing the player.
SFL is the native utility token used in Sunflower Land. It is needed for tool creation and farm expansion. The fastest way to earn SFL is to grow crops and trade them through the game store.

To get started in Sunflower Land, you will need to follow a few steps:
- Create a wallet: The first thing you need to do is to create a wallet on the blockchain. You will need a Metamask wallet and connect your account to the Polygon blockchain.
- Fund your wallet: to coin your farm and other game items, you will need the native $MATIC token on Polygon. Be sure to fund your wallet with enough $MATIC to get started.
- Create an account and play: once your wallet is set up and funded, you can coin your account and start playing Sunflower Land.

Another use of crops is to cook food. As you progress through the game, you will have to make choices. Sell the crops or use them for food?
To progress in the game and improve your ability to earn more SFL, you will have to level up your Bumpkin. To do this, simply click on your Bumpkin and select food to eat.
Expand your land
As you begin to level up, you will find that you need more land. More growing points, better resources and more space for your NFTs.
At the beginning of the game you are given 3 plots of land. Additional land plots are available if you meet the required conditions. Except for the first few levels, which are predefined, all land expansions are random.
This means that you can get a tree, farmland or rare gold.
Expanding land requires different resources than Bumpkins. Expanding requires cultivating resources such as wood, stone and iron.
To obtain the tools needed to cut trees and extract stone, you need to unlock blacksmithing. This requires that your Bumpkin evolve to level 3.
Each tool requires slightly more resources than the previous one. For example, an axe requires some SFL, a pickaxe requires some SFL and some wood.
Once the necessary resources have been obtained, it is time to expand the land. This process mints a new NFT which is then attached to your farm. Your assets are all stored on the Blockchain in your Web3 wallet.
